Anxiety & Stress
Anxiety can show up in many ways, racing thoughts, constant worry, difficulty relaxing, trouble sleeping, or feeling overwhelmed by everyday responsibilities. Even when life looks manageable on the outside, your mind may feel like it never fully slows down.
In therapy, we work together to understand what is driving your stress and develop practical tools to help you feel calmer, more grounded, and more in control. Our work may include learning how to regulate anxious thoughts, manage physical stress responses, and build healthier patterns that support emotional balance.
This is a space where you can pause, breathe, and learn how to respond to life with greater clarity and confidence rather than constant pressure.
Common areas we may explore:
Overthinking and worry
Burnout and emotional exhaustion
Panic symptoms
Perfectionism
Work or academic stress
Difficulty relaxing or “turning off” your mind
Life Transitions
Change, even positive change, can feel disorienting. New seasons of life often bring uncertainty, self-doubt, or questions about identity and direction. You may find yourself wondering who you are now or what comes next.
Therapy offers support during these in-between moments. Together, we create space to process emotions, clarify values, and navigate transitions with intention rather than overwhelm.
Whether you are starting something new, letting go of something familiar, or redefining your path, therapy can help you move forward feeling more grounded and aligned with yourself.
Common transitions clients seek support for:
Career or academic changes
Moving or relocation
Graduation or entering adulthood
Relationship beginnings or endings
Identity exploration
Personal growth and self-discovery
Personal Relationships
Relationships shape how we experience ourselves and the world. When communication breaks down or emotional needs feel unmet, it can lead to frustration, loneliness, or recurring conflict.
Individual therapy can help you better understand relationship patterns, strengthen communication skills, and develop healthier boundaries. Rather than assigning blame, we focus on awareness, emotional insight, and learning new ways of connecting with others while staying connected to yourself.
The goal is not perfection in relationships, but clarity, confidence, and more authentic connection.
Common relationship concerns:
Communication challenges
Boundary setting
People-pleasing patterns
Conflict or recurring arguments
Dating and relationship anxiety
Building healthier emotional connections

I am in-network with select insurance plans through Headway, although availability for insurance clients is currently limited.
I also offer private-pay therapy and partner with Mentaya, which helps clients determine whether their insurance plan offers out-of-network reimbursement and can simplify the reimbursement process. Because coverage varies by plan, I recommend checking your out-of-network mental health benefits with your insurance provider.
-
My private-pay rate is $165 for a 50-minute individual therapy session.
If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, you are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before receiving services. You may request a Good Faith Estimate at any time.

I offer both virtual and in-person sessions in South Pasadena, so you can choose the format that feels like the best fit for you.
